Tucson, AZ, WPH Press, 3/4/19-

The 2019 R48LTE USHA Hall of Fame marks the 54th event in the history of the Race 4 Eight tour and second R48LTE event in Race 4 Eight history, with the tour spanning 16 states in the R48’s first eight seasons.

The event will feature nine of the top 10 R48 Men’s Pros, headlined by R48 #2 Sean Lenning and the “Flying Cordovas.” Joining Lenning and the Flying Cordovas will be Elite 8 rivals Vic Perez, David Fink, Emmett Peixoto, and Marcos Chavez. The R48 stars will be competing for critical R48 ranking points just past the 2018/19 season’s midway point.


In addition to this super-event, the USHA Women’s Classic, highlighted by WR48 top three pros Tracy Davis and Ashley Moler, the Master’s Singles, featuring R48 Elite 8 pros Emmett Peixoto, David Fink, and Marcos Chavez playing in the 35+, 40+, and 45+ singles, respectively, as well as skill level and junior brackets in Tucson’s first mega event of 2019.

WPH RACE 4 EIGHT: The World Players of Handball’s 2018/19 Race 4 Eight 8 Powered by ESPN features R48 stops in Georgia, Arizona, Oregon, Montana, Louisiana, and California, all culminating with The Player’s Championship in Utah in May of 2019. Similar to NASCAR’s Nextel Cup and the FedEx PGA Playoffs, players earn points in the Race 4 Eight’s regular season stops to qualify for the season-ending Player’s Championship and bonus prizes.
