The first thing you need to do to fix a stone bruise, is change your message board username because it sounds like something Disidore would say to gross us out. Second, between matches and when your sitting around, roll the bruise over a pencil to foster blood flow to the injury. Next time before you play, tape a bunch of layers of duct tape together to make a thick piece. Cut the piece with strong scissors to form a bruise cover, include a finger hole or two to help hold it in place so it won't slide around in your glove. That's about the best you can do if you want to keep playing. But a smart person will tell you that you have to stop playing until the pain subsides. But there are no smart people in handball. __________________ WimbleDotte. The handball player factory. |

bone bruises are caused by poor contact with the ball and poor timing in your swing - ie you are slapping the ball, at the wrong point in your swing, causing the muscle damage.
to correct this you need to get a feel for the 40x20 ball. spend a few games playing with the dark blue handball, which is softer. this will improve your feel of the smaller ball and your timing.
as for correcting your damaged hand - ice and heat. ice for 20 minutes. leave for 20 minutes. heat for 20 minutes (water/heat pack/hot water bottle). rolling your hand slowly over a golf ball, handball or even a round pencil(don't do it if really sore) will encourage blood flow into the muscle area to help healing.
extra padding may help, but you're not solving the problem.

Good stuff once again from The Knife. My bone bruise days came to an end once I began wearing cotton glove liners and changing my swing to approximate that of David Chapman and David Fink. Accurate placement is still an issue but the all-important contact and follow-through on the swing is definitely improved.
As for cream eggs, according to the Jewish Book of Worship and Life this delicacy is meant to be enjoyed during Easter holiday in celebration of the birth of He who was once a Jew.
I trust you are aware of the important work scientists at the University of Nottingham's Bio-mechanics Lab have been doing on behalf of furthering our knowledge of the sublime cream egg:

I'm pretty sure the cross was not his choice. And does this mean all Catholics need to renounce their Judeo-Christianity?
you say stupid shit. This is ranked in the top 1.
A hand bruise is bad technique and not enough playing time. Your timing will make the ouchy's go away.

Get a gel soul that you would use for inside of your shoe. you can peal the layers to make it thine. Then cut to the shape you want, finaly tape it to your hand. It will still give you control and you will not feel any pain. |

Try playing with the bigball. As much fun as any other ball and no pain in your hands.
