Lilburn Goes Pro, National Championships Hit Recreation Atlanta
Lilburn, Georgia - January 23, 2012 - The Simple Green/World Players of Handball Race4Eight Professional Tour makes an east coast stop in the Atlanta, Georga, area when the world's elite handball players hit the hardwood at Recreation Atlanta in Lilburn, GA, January 26th, 27th, and 28th; meanwhile, the United States Handball Association (governing body of the sport) will hold their National Master Doubles at the same location from 1/26-29th. The Master Doubles Championship will pin the best players in the world over the age of 35 against each other to crown national champions.

The sport's top players will be on display starting with a pro player qualifier on Thursday beginning at 10am; where multiple inspiring pros will vie for four final spots in the main draw, to be played starting at 10am Friday (Jan 27th) and every hour following, as the WPH brackets crown the champion on Saturday night (7pm). All pro matches will be filmed and webcasted LIVE via the WPH race4eight.com website to PPV subscribers. All pro players will be accessible to the media before and after their matches.

Come meet the game's top players as current national champion, David Chapman (MO), Sean Lenning (#1 player in the world from Arizona), Naty Alvarado (#2 in the race standings from California), Luis Moreno (Race leader from Tucson, AZ) and more, gather points, as they gear up for the player championship in Seattle, WA, in May of 2012. At 1pm, Saturday, there will be a special pro player clinic with the kids and the public is invited! The United States Handball Association will crown national champions in divisions starting at 35 years of age and have participants over 80 years young! DV et al.
Thanks a ton for including some of the masters matches in the webcasting. I wish I would have known before (I should have checked the schedule) and I would have had my kids and the Edmonton handball guys tune in! Fantastic job as usual with commentating and the camera coverage. A big thank you for all you and the WPH staff do!

Being able to play at a tournament and also have the opportunity to watch the young pros play is a great mix.The shots and gets they made were unbelievable.Truly great athletes!

Thanks to DV and the WPH for adding a real professional touch to our sport!
