I am saddened to report that a young member of our handball family was involved in a motorcycle accident and was killed. Nick was the son of Steve Bell, a top 50 Open player in his day, before a hip injury took him out of the game.  Nick was a really special kid.  Like Steve, he had an uncanny sense of humor.  He had  a knack for verbalizing things that people would think, but never say out loud, bringing an uproar of laughter from anybody within earshot.  The Houston handball community will deeply miss Nick, who passed away at much too young an age.  RIP Nick

2 of my kids, Dutch and Marshall grew up playing with Nick as kids.  Sad beyond words.  Beyond words.
